There is a beautiful riverside walk from the village to the beach. The pier at Bunagee is also just minutes away, and from there you can take fishing and sightseeing trips offered by excellent local boating companies. Also nearby, you can explore ancient monuments such as the Temple of Deen, the Bocan Stone Circle, the Cloncha Cross and the Carrowmore High Crosses.
